Branding

This is my Branding category of My Work. It consists of place branding, package branding and a rebranding of a non-profit organisation.

Matcha Sachet branding

Project Objective: Design a convenient package of authentic Matcha tea (2 g sachet and value box) that you can take and make inside the office cafeteria, as an alternative to drinking strong coffee through a long day of office work.

Kenilworth

Project Objective: Create a place branding campaign for one suburb in Cape Town that is nostalgic.

Medium: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Photography

Media/Merch: Wayfinder signs and compass for 6 places, Mobile App, Instagram post and story, Stickers, Peak Cap and T-shirts.

I was raised by my grandparents, who lived in Lansdowne. One of my first memories was when my granny and I once took a taxi to Kenilworth Centre and Access Park, and we took a long walk or two inside those places. Currently, my reason to drive into Kenilworth nowadays is to visit Salisbury Mews, home to Michelle and Shaun Roodman, aka The Engrave Slave anime merchandise shop.

S.A.R.D.A. branding

Project Objective: Choose a favourite place that would need a rebrand to attract more visitors to get involved in.

SARDA is the first place I learned to ride and love horses. As a scholar from Vera School, I was a quick learner to have picked up the rhythm immediately when I sat on the saddle of my first horse, Luckybean(RIP) and then Tekkie. Surely, when I heard it was still running to this day, I went to try out as the volunteer side walker for the riders.
